Wedza Creators policy
Wedza Creators promote Wedza CRM, the app that runs wedding and event businesses: enquiries, quotes, orders, payments and expenses. This policy covers who can join, how you earn when businesses join through your link, the house rules, and how and when we pay you.
1. Who can join
- You create content on Instagram or YouTube and have at least 1,000 followers or subscribers.
- You are 18 or older, live in India and have a bank account or UPI ID in your own name.
- One account per person and per mobile number.
2. Applying and approval
You join at wedza.in/creators with your mobile number (we verify it with a code), your details and your audience. You log in with your number and a 6-digit MPIN.
Wedza reviews every profile before it goes live. We check your social accounts and your real follower count. We may approve or decline any application, and we tell you why if we decline. You can fix your profile and send it again.
When we approve you, you get your own link and your share (see section 4).
3. Your link and who counts as yours
- Your link looks like wedza.in/c/yourname. It opens the Wedza Partner Portal, where businesses join.
- A business counts as yours when it opens your link and joins on the Partner Portal within 90 days of first opening it, or, if it already had an account, starts paying for its first plan within that time.
- If a business opened another creator's link first, it belongs to that creator. The first link counts.
- Businesses that join without your link (for example straight from the app, or after the 90 days) don't count, even if they saw your post.
- Your own business, or one using your mobile number or email, never counts.
- Once a business counts as yours, that doesn't change.
4. What you earn
You earn a share of the plan price on the first paid plan each of your businesses buys. Renewals, upgrades and later plans don't earn again.
Every approved creator earns 40%, whatever the size of their audience. In special cases Wedza may agree a different share with a creator; it's shown on your dashboard.
For example, if a business you brought buys a plan of ₹1,000, you earn 40% of it: ₹400.
- Earnings show in your dashboard as soon as the business's payment is confirmed.
- Plans given free by Wedza, offers we run ourselves and payments that fail don't earn.
Or pick the video plan: a video fee + 10%. On your Earning plan page you can switch to this plan instead of 40% fixed. The video fee follows your followers or subscribers: 1K – 10K followers: ₹200 · 10K – 50K followers: ₹500 · 50K+ followers: ₹1,000.
- Make one video exactly as Wedza's brief says and send us a draft link. Don't post it before we approve it.
- Once we approve the draft, post it on Instagram or YouTube as approved, tag @wedza.in and add the post link on the page. We pay you the video fee within 30 minutes of the post link, to your UPI or bank account, outside your wallet.
- From the day you pick this plan you earn 10% (not 40%) on each business's first plan. Once you're paid for the video, you stay on this plan.
- Keep the post up. Once you post it, the video stays on your account, public. Don't delete, archive, hide or make it private, and don't edit out Wedza or the @wedza.in tag.
- Keep your Wedza link in your bio. Your link stays in your Instagram bio (or your YouTube channel's links) while the post is up.
Wedza pays a video fee for this post, so it's a paid agreement. If you take the post down, hide it, or remove your Wedza link from your bio after we've paid you, you break this agreement. Wedza may then pause your account, ask you to return the the video fee, and take legal action against you, including suing you to recover it.
5. House rules
Follow these to keep earning. If you break them, the commission on the affected businesses isn't paid.
- Promote Wedza CRM. It's the only Wedza product the programme pays for; don't present other Wedza apps or offers as part of it.
- Tag @wedza.in on Instagram in every post, reel and story about Wedza CRM.
- Keep your Wedza link in your Instagram bio while you're a Wedza creator.
- Partners have to come from your link and join on the Partner Portal.
- Be honest about Wedza. Don't promise features, prices, discounts, free trials or results Wedza doesn't offer.
- No spam, fake accounts, fake sign-ups or buying followers.
- No paid ads that bid on the Wedza name or pretend to be Wedza, and don't use the Wedza logo in a way that looks official.
- Mark paid or sponsored posts as advertising, as the platforms and Indian advertising rules ask.
6. Payouts
- When your wallet reaches ₹5,000, tap Request payout on the Payouts page. We pay your whole wallet in one payout.
- Add where to send the money first: your UPI ID or a bank account in your name. Adding your PAN helps with tax records.
- Once your request comes in, we verify it and pay you within 7 working days. We check that the businesses you brought are real, joined through your link and paid, and that the house rules were followed.
- When the money is sent, the payout shows as Paid with the bank or UPI reference (UTR), so you can match it in your account.
- If something needs fixing (for example a wrong UPI ID or a sign-up we can't verify), we tell you why on the Payouts page and the amount goes back to your wallet. Fix it and ask again.
Reach the payout amount within 1 year. If your wallet doesn't reach ₹5,000 within 1 year of your first earning, payouts on your account are restricted: the earnings in your wallet expire and no payment is made for them.
Working days are Monday to Friday, except public holidays. A request made on Saturday is paid by the end of the 7th working day after it. Any tax that Indian law asks us to deduct is deducted before payment.
- One payout request at a time.
- If a business gets a refund from Wedza after paying, the earning you already got stays yours, unless the sign-up broke the house rules or was fake.
7. Pausing or ending your account
- We may pause your link if we see a house rule broken. While it's paused, new sign-ups and payments don't earn. You can still ask for a payout of what you earned fairly.
- For fraud (fake sign-ups, self-referrals, misleading promotion), we may close your account and not pay the earnings involved.
- You can stop being a Wedza creator any time. Write to us and we pay what's in your wallet if it reached the payout amount within 1 year of your first earning (section 6).
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy, the shares or the payout amount. Changes apply from the day we publish them and never reduce what you've already earned. We tell you about important changes on your dashboard.
